Senior Writer

Based in Nice, France, Wolcen Studio is looking for a full-time Senior Writer,

Working with a small team of Junior Writers, you'll be responsible for writing, editing and conveying the story elements of Wolcen : Lords of Mayhem, through dialogue, cutscenes, or lore.

Responsibilities :

• Create a strong storyline and cast of characters supporting the creative direction of the game
  
• Maintain narrative documentation, including but not limited to character briefs, environment descriptions, and story overviews.
  
• Prévoir mutual feedback and quality control between writers
  
• Communicate with teams across the studio and keep up to date with the narrative needs of each department
  
• Prepare scripts and attend voice recordings
  
• Identify and volunteer new avenues for storytelling
  

Requirements :

• 5 years in the video game industry as a Writer.
  
• Fluent in English
  
• Released at least one AAA game as 'Lead Writer'
  
• Familiarity with cinematic style and punchy dialogue
  
• Experience managing a team of writers
